|Description:||Interviews mortgage applicants. Assists members by giving advice |
regarding their mortgage or HELOC, and advises Senior Loan Review Committee of facts regarding referred mortgages.
|Duties:||1. Interviews applicants for First and Second Mortgages |
A. Conducts interviews and reviews applications for completeness.
B. Obtains all pertinent paperwork and information necessary to process the mortgage.
C. Advises applicants as to proper procedures and methods of completion.
D. Completes Mortgage Disclosures as required by TILA-RESPA regulations.
E. Interfaces daily with Loan Origination Unit, Loan Service Unit, attorneys, appraisers, and real estate agents.
F. Complies with all Regulatory Compliance Acts including Fair Credit Reporting Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and Truth-ln-Lending/RESPA.
G. Studies and keeps informed of all mortgage loan plans, policies, and procedures, etc. of this Credit Union, FNMA, FHLMC and private investors we deal with.
H. Answers telephone requests for mortgage information.
I. Reaches out to potential borrowers to solicit additional mortgage business.
J. Interfaces with members regarding mortgage forbearances.
K. Conducts periodic home buyer seminars for membership.
L. Daily import on-line application off online mortgage portal to FICS system.
M. Set-up mortgage files, follows up on missing documents prior to processing and works with borrowers to clear conditions prior to closing.
N. Networks and volunteers at various Real Estate functions on committees they serve as members/affiliates.
0. Under the Secure & Fair Enforcement Licensing Act (S.A.F.E. Act), must be licensed with the NMLS & Registry.
|Qualifications:||Minimum of two years mortgage interviewing experience preferred. |
Knowledge of secondary market servicing requirements. Possess problem solving and critical thinking skills
