|Description:||NFFCU is seeking an executive to provide overall leadership, vision, strategic decision, and management in all functional areas for our 56 million dollar Credit Union. |
NFFCU is a community chartered Credit Union located in Malone, New York, established in 1972 originally serving Teachers. NFFCU provides a wide variety of financial services, including on-line and mobile technologies; with Assets of $56 million, 1 branch location and serving nearly 5,000 members.
|Duties:||Perform all duties in accordance with the direction and policies established by the Board of Directors and NCUA Ensure the credit unions financial health; organize resources to meet short and long term goals and objectives; manage staff and makes appropriate policy and business recommendations to the Board of Directors. Promote strong relations with members and the community while fostering a culture of strong employee development and member experience.|
|Qualifications:||Five years or more of progressively responsible experience in the financial institution industry or in a position of senior or management in a related field.|
A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance, accounting, management, business administration or other related areas. Associates degree or High School diploma and job related experience may be substituted.
•Strong leadership qualities and innovative approaches and ideas
•Thorough knowledge of credit union industry
•Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are necessary.
•Good business judgment, high initiative, and the ability to manage multiple workloads with successful results
•Understanding of financial and accounting policies and practices and the ability to analyze and interpret all financial data being presented to the Board of Directors
•Strong problem analysis and problem resolution abilities
•Familiarity with related laws and regulations
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
•Knowledge of Credit Union or banking software
