Summary of Position:
Responsible for receiving and recording checks and cash for deposit into checking and savings accounts, for payment of loans, etc., for cashing checks and paying out money from checking and savings accounts; for providing cash, for posting interest; deposits and withdrawals; and for other clerical information.

| Duties: | Specific Duties:
Handling various transactions for members involving withdrawals and deposits of cash, checks and other instruments, inputting such transactions into computer terminals in order to record the activity against the member�s accounts
Collecting and recording loan payments
Selling travelers checks, money orders and other services, as directed
Proving out work, ensuring that all cash and check deposits and withdrawals have been properly posted to members� accounts, and ensuring proper control of cash drawer
Other clerical tasks involving various Credit Union activities such as member account verifications
Scanning checks

| Qualifications: | Min 2 years cash handling experience
Min 2 years customer service experience
Ability to work flexible schedule - Friday evenings & Rotating Saturdays
Good professional and business-like presentation required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Organized and attentive to detail
Prior financial background a plus
Bilingual a plus |
