| Duties: | Design and program systems with special emphasis on designing applications for credit union needs. Responsible for thorough testing and complete documentation of programs.
Evaluates and modifies existing programs as required and ensures completeness and accuracy of testing and documentation. Formulate implementation plans and schedule and complete development of software/hardware projects within allotted deadlines. Diagnose and resolve problems in applications software, data integrity, system use, or electronic delivery systems. Communicate and coordinate with technical personnel of outside vendors and agencies to define system requirements, develop supporting software, and resolve problems.

| Qualifications: | Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information systems, computer science, programming or related field.
Experience in software development and maintenance using procedural programming languages.
Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL statements.
Knowledge of or experience with object oriented analysis and design, personal computer software and operating systems. And the demonstrated ability to learn new hardware/software/operating systems.
Proficiency with Internet-oriented programming tools such as HTML and Javascript
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, provide guidance and instruction to users, communicate clearly and concisely in writing and orally.
Ability to interact with users of varying levels of expertise as well as to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
Ability to understand and follow directions and to participate as a member of a departmental project team.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
