This position requires a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the financial well-being of our members and the communities we serve by providing exceptional and personal service every day, every time. Under general supervision, the individual will perform a variety of support duties related to the front line, savings and lending functions within the credit union and assist in providing a wide range of administrative and support services to branch operations that require a broad knowledge of department operations, policies and procedures. Depending upon conditions performs any combination of the duties outlined below.

| Duties: | Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Review and originate mortgage, consumer and business loan applications explaining different financing options and programs available. Qualify the applicant according to established underwriting guidelines. Prepare and processes loan documents, review for accuracy, and arrange for disbursal.
Answer telephone relative to loan questions, provide routine information, and/or route calls to appropriate personnel and schedule appointments for loan personnel. Maintain and coordinate loan department calendar so members are served with the highest quality.
Provide administrative assistance to appropriate personnel, including updating loan data, processing correspondence, and assembling documentation for member loans.
Assemble and verify accuracy of loan documentation to ensure that loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates and other relevant data.
Prepare various lending and special reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as requested by management.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
Represent the credit union to the consumer in a courteous, professional manner, and provides prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing transactions.
Respond to consumer requests, problems, complaints, and/or directs them to the proper person for specific information and assistance. Provide information in person, on-line, and by telephone on credit union products and services, policies and procedures and membership eligibility.
Cross-sell credit union products and services based on consumer needs; explain various account and ownership options; provide counseling necessary to meet the needs and obtain required information.
Perform routine front line transactions, including opening and maintaining existing accounts, processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
Any other duties assigned by management.

| Qualifications: | Skills, Abilities and Qualities
Friendly, accurate, detail oriented, knowledgeable, hardworking, honest and dependable.
Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in a financial institution or an acceptable combination of education and experience necessary to gain the background knowledge to transact business effectively with members and co-workers. Must be available to work extended hours including Saturday rotations. |
